The Green Homes Grant allows homeowners and landlords to apply for vouchers up to £5,000 to help cover up to two thirds of the cost of energy efficient home improvements. Low income households are eligible to claim up to £10,000 to cover 100% of the work.

This work will create 100,000 jobs for tradespeople this winter* – but only if you’re registered to carry out the work.

How do I register to carry out Green Homes Grant works?

You must be TrustMark registered to carry out Green Home Grant works.

It’s been extended! The Green Homes Grant scheme now extended until the end of March 2022, there will be plenty of opportunity for work.

Additional criteria:

  • If you install energy efficiency measures, you must also be certified to install measures against Publicly Available Specification (PAS) standards PAS 2030:2017, PAS 2030:2019 and PAS 2035:2019 (for park homes, high rise buildings etc.)
  • And if you install low carbon heat measures such as heat pumps, you must be certified with the MCS.
