Company description

We are a family owned Independent Builders & Plumbers Merchant and are looking for a full time Administrator for our Doncaster Head Office.

The successful applicant will be working as part of a small dynamic team. We are looking for someone who has a great attitude, flexible and willing to experience and learn all aspects of the business. Saturday (morning) working is a requirement for this role, and you will be expected to work every other Saturday throughout the year.

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of administrative procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties  

  • Answering the telephone
  • Preparing and depositing takings and completing bank books
  • Managing the petty cash float
  • Processing goods inwards paperwork
  • Dealing with customer and supplier invoice queries
  • Credit control
  • Ordering stationery and workwear
  • Incoming and outgoing post
  • Filing
  • Other general tasks when required

Qualifications and Skills  

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Good IT skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Great Attention to detail
  • Confident, outgoing and friendly
  • Good customer service skills
