Spinks donates building material for Doncaster Schools FA’s new home ground

AE Spinks (Spinks) have donated building materials to Doncaster Schools Football Association to help build pitch side sheltered dugouts for the players at their new home ground in Armthorpe.

The long-established local plumbing, heating and builders’ merchant based in Doncaster, with branches in Leeds, Worksop and Sheffield have donated breeze blocks that will be used to build the sheltered dugouts to keep the young footballers warm and dry. The ground is due to be completed in Summer 2021 and will be used by the club for training, and to host local, district and national football games and tournaments.

Chris Meek, Building Sales Director said: “As a local business we’re always happy to help community projects, so we’re delighted to be able to offer our support by donating the materials for the Doncaster Schools Football Association home ground. Once complete, this will be a great new facility at the ground, and of course we wish them all the best for the new season ahead.”

Chairman of Doncaster Schools Football Association, Shaun Tetley commented: “We are so thrilled by the generous donation of materials from Spinks. We are so fortunate to have the support of local businesses to help build a base for young and very talented footballers so they can play district football and represent their town. I know the whole club will join me in thanking Spinks for their contribution”.
