Spinks donates footballs to local schools ahead of the World Cup 2022

Spinks has donated a number of footballs to local schools in Leeds and Doncaster to celebrate the start of the World Cup 2022.

With the tournament kicking off this weekend, pupils from Woodfield Primary School and Little London Primary School can now emulate their heroes on the playground with brand new Spinks branded footballs.

With branches in Leeds and Doncaster, Spinks proudly supports initiatives across the region. Each school has received 20 branded balls as football fever grips the nation in the build-up to the tournament kicking off on Sunday.

Chloe Fordham, Marketing Manager commented “At Spinks, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we work and are delighted to be able to donate the footballs to two local schools. Who knows, the next Harry Kane could be among these pupils!”

Woodfield Primary School, Headteacher, Kate Hope said “Thank you so much for the donation of all the footballs – it will mean so much to our children as it is their favourite sport; both in lessons and at playtime. We really promote healthy lifestyles, so these footballs will mean they can be actively involved in playing football at playtimes and have enough equipment to share. It will also mean that they gain confidence in school to then hopefully explore being part of a football team for the school and also out of school too.”

Little London Primary School, PE Lead, Josh Mayfield added “We are extremely grateful for the footballs donated to us by AE Spink Ltd. Our students are extremely passionate about football and this donation will help us continue to provide high-quality experiences and promote physical activity across our curriculum.”
