Experienced Warehouse/Yard Operative – Doncaster & Leeds Branch
(£K – competitive salary)
FULL TIME
Responsibilities: –
- Moving materials around the warehouse/yard area using forklift
- Maintain stock in the warehouse/yard ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in full
- Unloading supplier deliveries
- Checking and signing for supplier goods received
- Housekeeping where necessary to ensure that the warehouse/yard is kept safe & tidy at all times
- Safe loading of customer and company vehicles with various building materials
- Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner
- Move and stack materials in a safe manner
- Assisting with additional warehouse duties
- Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear effectively
- Adhere to current health & safety requirements
- Saturday (morning) working is a requirement for this role, and you will be expected to work every other Saturday throughout the year.
Experience/Skills required: –
- Ideally someone with experience within the builders’ merchants’ sector
- Manual handling
- Forklift experience
- Forklift licence (ESSENTIAL)
- High standard of attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent timekeeping skills
- Reliable
- Trustworthy

HGV Drivers – Leeds & Doncaster Branch
FULL TIME
Responsibilities and Duties
- In this role you will be responsible for multi drop deliveries to customers in the surrounding area, providing top quality customer service
- The role involves driving the Class 2 HGV vehicles with HIAB Crane
- In addition to your driving duties we would expect you to be flexible and assist with yard/warehouse duties should the need arise
- Saturday (morning) working is a requirement for this role, and you will be expected to work every other Saturday throughout the year.
Qualifications and Skills
- HIAB certification and experience is essentialfor this role
- Class 2 licence, digital tachograph card and up to date CPC training also is essential
- For this position, knowledge of the building industry and building products would be a distinct advantage
