AE Spink Ltd, commonly known as Spinks, was founded in 1926 in Doncaster. The business began as an ironmongers and plumbers’ merchant, trading under the name Stavely & Spink. As a family-run company, it quickly earned a strong reputation for its extensive stock range and knowledgeable staff, attracting repeat custom from both tradespeople and the general public. This success drove steady expansion, and today Spinks operates four Plumbing and Heating branches, two Building Supplies and Brick Centres, three Bathroom Showrooms, and a dedicated Renewables Centre.

Branching out with our new bathroom showrooms

Following the launch of the builders’ merchant, Spinks opened its first bathroom showroom in Doncaster; Spinks Interiors – delivering high-quality bathroom suites. Following its success, the company has opened a further two showrooms in Worksop and Leeds, where you can find inspiring displays on show.
